16 years..... Since their last title
11 years..... Since their last Playoff Appearance
The St. Louis Rams look forward to returning to the promised land, and owner Stan Kroenke alongside Coach Jeff Fisher look to make that sooner rather than later. A team that has been plagued by rumors of returning to Los Angeles over the last several years.
Rumors of relocating were quelled today, at least for the time being.. as the Rams renewed their lease at the Edward Jones Dome for the 2016-2017 season. This one way or another will be the last year in the Dome.
The Rams have set their official 53 Man Roster Today after going 2-2.
Here is Jeff Fisher's Official 53 Man:
The Rams will open the season against the Defending NFC Champions The Seattle Seahawks in Week 1 at Home in St. Louis.
Nick Foles and Todd Gurley are two key Debuts to watch. Tune in 1:00 on Sunday.

In the last two years alone, Manager Zach Roberts of FC Bayern has taken an already powerful giant and turned them into the biggest powerhouse in years. One Goal still eludes Roberts, The Treble. The Treble being capturing all 3 major trophies, the Bundesliga Title, the Deutscher Pokal, and the Champions League Title. Roberts has announced as of yesterday, Friday August 5th, 2016 that he will be retiring upon season's end. We take a chance today to look at Bayern Munich's chances this season by first looking at the past two seasons under Roberts' reign. In year 1, Roberts led Bayern Munich to a 40-5-7 Record in 52 games across the Domestic League, Cup, and International Competition. This record was good enough to earn Roberts his first Manager of the Year award. Bayern Munich clinched the Bundesliga on the last match of the season to earn them yet another Bundesliga title. Bayern also triumphed over Hertha Berlin to win the Deutscher Pokal. Roberts led Bayern all the way to the Champions League title match, falling to Barcelona and Lionel Messi 5-3. Robert Lewandowski was the Ballon D'Or winner with an Amazing 53 Goals and 36 assists. Manuel Neuer took home the Bundesliga Player of the Year.
In Year 2, Roberts looked to improve on one of the best seasons in FC Bayern History trying to win the elusive Treble. In 48 Games Bayern finished with a 40-4-4 record, However this year the tournaments would prove to be more troublesome. FC Bayern fell in the Quarterfinals of the Champions League to underdog Valencia CF. Disaster Struck again when Bayern fell in a uncharacteristic Blowout loss to Borussia Dortmund in a 6-2 loss in the Deutscher Pokal SemiFinal. Bayern however was as dominant as ever in the Bundesliga only losing two games all season. Lewandowski was the Bundesliga Player of the year with 50 Goals and 19 Assists, while Manuel Neuer had a rough season in front of Net. Newcomers Falcao, Mesut Ozil, Marco Reus, and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang all proved their worth. While Departures such as Thomas Müller were filled admirably
Now in Year 3, Roberts is looking for the Treble as a way to say Farewell to Bayern and the his Management Career. Several Newcomers and Departures from last years team should make this team much different, and hopefully more of a threat this time around. We take a look at this years key Newcomers and Departures:
Newcomers:
Arturo Vidal, Juventus
Douglas Costa, FC Schaktar
Departures:
Mesut Ozil, Real Madrid
Sebastian Rode, Arsenal
Heres a Look at the Opening Match Roster for Bayern München (First Team):
GK: Manuel Neuer, Guillermo Ochoa,
CB: Jerome Boateng, Mehdi Benatia, Javi Martinez, Per Mertesaker
RB: Phillip Lahm
LB: David Alaba, Juan Bernat
CM: Arturo Vidal, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Xabi Alonso, Arjen Klaasen
CF: Robert Lewandowski, Mario Götze
LW: Marco Reus, Franck Ribery, Andre Ayew
RW: Douglas Costa, Xherdan Shaqiri, Julian Green
ST: Falcao, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang
Phillip Lahm remains as Team Captain.
FC Bayern and Roberts look to continue their reign as Bundesliga Champions as well as picking up the Champions League Title, and Deutscher Pokal this season and that all starts on Saturday August 6th when Bayern takes on Rival and MUST SEE TV Rival Borussia Dortmund.

Royal Contenders
--Kansas City, MO-- Wow. Just wow. Those are the words of many longtime Royals fans who witnessed the Royals Playoff Run in 2014. The Kansas City Royals come into 2015 with something that they have not in 29 years..... Expectations. After being stranded 90 feet away from a World Title, Kansas City has a chip on their shoulder.
The Royals come into Spring Training with many Roster questions surrounding Last years losses.
KEY DEPARTURES
1. Billy Butler, DH (Free Agency, Oak)
-Butler was a staple and fan favorite in Kansas City's Lineup since 2007, however proving inconsistent in 2014. The Club chose not to renew his contract in the 2014 Offseason.
2. Norichika Aoki, OF (Free Agency, SF)
-Norichika Aoki came to the Kansas City Royals in 2014 in a trade from the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for Reliever Will Smith. Aoki proved a consistent bat and reliable outfielder near the top of the order. Aoki Chose to sign with the San Francisco Giants on January 19th, 2015.
KEY ADDITIONS
1. Chris Young, P (Free Agency)
-The 2014 Comeback Player of the Year with the Seattle Mariners (12-9, 3.65 ERA), Young looks to be either a strong end of the Rotation guy or Reliable Long Relief Man. Young addresses Spot Starting Questions that the Royals often had issues with last season.
2. Kendrys Morales, DH (Free Agency)
-Morales, who many know as the man who broke his leg celebrating a Walk off Home run a few years ago signed with the Royals in December as the most reasonable response to the departure of Billy Butler, Morales provides decent power but has not shown such since 2013, when he blasted 23 for Seattle.
3. Alex Rios, OF (Free Agency)
The Royals will begin Spring Training on March 4th, 2015 in Surprise Arizona.
Kansas City is yet to reveal the full list of Spring Training Invitees.

Royals fall in Rubber match against Minnesota
Jason Vargas did not have his best stuff today as he surrendered 4 runs in 1 and a third innings, with a minimal offensive effort, The Royals just never could get out of that rut. One high note was the pitching of Brandon Finnegan and Jason Frasor; who both only surrendered a total of 1 run through the rest of the contest including Frasor striking out 5 of the 6 batters he faced.
The Royals will be back at it tomorrow night as they return home to face the Oakland Athletics,
Jeremy Guthrie will take the bump against A's ace Sonny Gray.

Royals fall to Twins in Lackluster pitching performance
The Royals fell tonight against the Twins for their second loss of the young season, Now 6-2 on the year. Poor starting pitching from Edinson Volquez, who lasted only 4 innings put the Royals in the hole for the rest of the contest. Chris Young came in for the 5th but was unable to hold the tie and gave up the two run lead that would stick for the rest of the game. Louis Coleman and Wade Davis were able to hold the deficit but the absence of the offense after the 5th inning was apparent as the Royals were not able to hit with Runners in scoring position; a problem they have had all season.

Strong All Around Victory for the Royals as they move to 6-1

Danny Duffy had a strong outing for his second victory of the season; the biggest story of the day was Brandon Finnegan coming in and providing two and two thirds innings of relief only allowing one run to a Twins offense that got hot in the late innings. Greg Holland came in for the 9th and slammed the door by setting Minnesota down 1-2-3 for his 4th save this season.

ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END AS THE ROYALS SURRENDER THE FINALE
The Kansas City Royals put forward an inspiring comeback effort but lackluster starting pitching led to a game of catchup that the Royals just couldn't play despite a clutch 8th inning Homerun from Eric Hosmer to make the game a 5-6 one run game. The Royals now move to 5-1 on the season, with their first loss. Kansas City will be back at it tomorrow against Minnesota in Minneapolis, Probable pitchers to come.

I must say, I have been baffled this weekend.
The Kansas City Royals have really turned it up a notch for the First series of the year; Sweeping the Series. 3 Starting pitching performances that went to at least 7 innings; two of which were near no-hitters. Ventura, Duffy and Volquez all look spectacular and I am excited to see where we are headed this season. Only two pitchers from the bullpen pitched across all 3 games (Holland and Herrera); Ned Yost would love to see that more often the rest of this season. It is not likely that you will see this all the way through the season, but it is a pleasant start. The offense was both good and bad, Gordon, Moose, Rios.... pretty much everyone except Cain and Morales swung the bat well. Morales did not log a hit in the 3 games but I am not too worried; it happens. It'll be likely that Morales will be out of the lineup at least once in the 3 games against the Angels. The bullpen looks ready to eat innings as the Big 3 all look strong (Herrera, Davis, Holland).
The Royals will take the stage tomorrow as they travel to Anaheim to take on the Los Angeles Angels,
Jason Vargas will take the hill against Hector Santiago.
Vargas who was moved back in the rotation in favor of Volquez is looking to have a good start to this season.
Minor League Report: Nothing yet, however we are on the eve of the beginning of the season. Kyle Zimmer will start the season in Double-A, it is not known if the Royals plan to put him on the 40 man roster.
Most Likely to get moved: At this point, I do not see anyone being actively put on the market for the near future. However, if Kris Medlen returns, it is most likely that someone in the rotation will be moved; all signs are pointing to Guthrie but time will tell.
That does it for my Royals Wrap up! I look forward to another great year of Royals Baseball,
